Will the Wulf and Rae story (Billionaires in Disguise: Rae) ever end? There is the omnibus and some other books and epilogues!

I get this question at least once a week, and this time when I wrote out the answer to a reader, it went pretty well. So here's why the Wulfie/Rae story of Billionaires in Disguise: Rae just keeps going:

Everyone seems to love Rae and Wulf, and I keep getting emails like, "AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED?"

At the end of BID: Rae, they are engaged and will be married the next morning, and she's quite pregnant as well. So, that's a lot of a resolution. Honestly, I was planning to end it there.

Then the emails started. Not to mention the FB PMs. Even a phone call over Facebook. Plus some tweets. AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED?

And so I continued their story in Lizzy's books (Billionaires in Disguise: Lizzy, Falling Hard, etc.), having her go to their wedding because people wanted to see the wedding.

More emails. AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED?

So, I wrote some epilogues for some boxed sets where people paid 99c and got a whole bunch of books by a bunch of authors (The LOL Boxes and the Red Hot Boxed Sets), so that was a good deal for everybody. They got an epilogue and a bunch of books for a cheap price.

Still more emails. AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED?

And so I wrote about their religious wedding and big fancy reception in the Georgie books.

I'm sure you can guess what I got in my email after that.

So, the next couple of books that I write (after this one, final Killer Valentine book because I'm also getting emails about AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED WITH XAN AND GEORGIE?) will be the books about Wulf's little sister, Flicka. You'll see Wulf and Rae's baby in that one. Yes, it has blue eyes.

Thank you so much for your support for Wulfie and Rae. I love them, too.

A Usual Day in the Life of the Romance Author

I was chatting in my Facebook Readers' Group tonight and thought that I would cross-post here at the blog.
Writing can be hard work, and chatting like in groups like the Babylon group keeps me going.
So, what's an author's day like?
Just as a measure, I typed +2924 words today, which came out to about 1.5 scene-chapters. I think the "book" (Arthur's book, Stiff Drink) is 145,000 words so far, and I'm not at the end yet. I may have to publish this as a "duet," two books, maybe 3.
I'm at the point where everything is clear in the book, all the motivations and backgrounds and underlying stories, and I'm going back and making things clear. I probably added/subtracted words to 10 scenes today, maybe more.
About 3K words is a good day for me. Rarely, I can get more than 5000 words, but I have to really know where and how it's going. Some days I only get a few hundred due to other things.
I took a few hours off to run to the grocery and booze store, homeschooling my 12-yo kid and being the mom, and talking to an author friend who was having some problems. I faffed around on Facebook for a while, talking about the publishing industry and chatting with other authors about going to the national RWA conference in Florida this summer.
Other than that, I typed and edited most of the day. I started before 8 AM. It's almost midnight, and I'm going up to shower before I crash and start it all over again.
Good night, all. See you on the flip side.
